Toyota Stand Up Forklift

Toyota Stand Up Forklift

Aisle Types
Lift trucks are classified due to the types of aisles they have been designed to work in. Narrow Aisle and Wide Aisle lift trucks are designed to turn in the aisle, while Very Narrow Aisle trucks actually don't turn within the aisle. There are certain aisle widths to take into consideration with various units.

VNA or Very Narrow Aisle trucks work in less than 6 feet places and normally utilize certain guidance systems like wire, optical or rail systems in order to travel in the aisles. Several various models of VNA trucks consist of Turret Trucks, Swing Masts and Order Selectors. These are popular models in tight retail areas and in several warehouse and storage situations.

NA or Narrow Aisle trucks can operate within aisles which are 8 feet to 10 feet. Usually these are stand-up units like for instance Reach Trucks. They are often used within storage facilities and warehouses.

The wide aisle forklift is designed to work within aisles more than 8 feet to 10 feet.

Stand-Up Ergonomics
The stand-up ergonomics include "Ergomat" padding with a sloped floorboard which is designed to lessen operator exhaustion by absorbing vibration. The compartment for the operator is really big and has an 8" low step height that helps reduce overall body fatigue by easing frequent exit and entry. The model consists of polyurethane steer tires to absorb vibration and shocks caused by uneven floor in order to enable smooth traveling. For additional comfort, there is a floor mat and a cushioned armrest along with a backrest designed to help keep operators comfortable and therefore more productive while limiting exhaustion.
