End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent option for applications that need frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by various businesses who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in a way that is both safe and efficient.
All basic reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The forks also have a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the forks to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
